With a career defined by craftsmanship and a "jack of all trades" versatility, Chris brings a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on leadership to every project. His background is rooted in the precision of custom cabinetry, the complexity of machining, and the strategic oversight of management.

Chris’s professional trajectory shifted in 2008 when he began training in the well service industry under the mentorship of Ken Rogers, then-owner of Meek & Jones Pump Company. This experience sparked a deep-seated passion for water infrastructure, the vital systems that sustain our local communities.

In 2021, Chris channeled this lifelong technical background into launching his own business. Driven by a commitment to quality and service, the company saw rapid growth within its first few years. This commitment is most evident in his ability to adapt and respond quickly when systems fail, ensuring that families aren't left stranded when they run out of water. Today, he is proud to operate as a family-focused business; his son-in-law joined the team with an eager mind and a shared mission to provide reliable water solutions and support the community we call home.

CHRIS VON TICKNER

Born and raised in Yreka, Richard has a deep-rooted connection to the land and community of Siskiyou County. Before entering the well service industry, he spent over 10 years at the highest level of professional motorsports, serving as a lead mechanic and fabricator for several elite supercross teams. This fast-paced environment honed his technical precision and ability to solve complex mechanical problems under pressure—skills that now serve as the backbone of his work in water infrastructure.

After traveling the professional circuit, Richard returned home to Siskiyou County to raise his family and apply his expertise to a new trade. Under the mentorship of his father-in-law, a veteran in the field, he has transitioned into the well service business, specializing in solving critical water problems for local residents. As a key member of this business, Richard combines a "race day" work ethic with a neighborly commitment to ensuring every client has reliable access to clean water. When he isn't troubleshooting a pump or fabricating a custom solution, he can be found with his family enjoying the same beautiful outdoors he grew up in.

  • "I left a message late Sunday night and heard back early Monday morning. Chris and Richard arrived on time, they are knowledgeable and 100% professional. They got the job done at a fair rate. Best of all, they arrived as strangers but left as friends. I hope I never need their services again, but I am happy to know who to call if I do. Merci!"
